Communication is of various types. The kind of communication that is happening between people will depend on various factors. Some of the communication is possible because of the fact that the people who are communicating are face to face. This is one of the best kinds of communication as there is no chance of misunderstanding in the communication, if the people who are communicating have enough skills in communication.
There are also many other kinds of communication that can occur in situations where the people may not be facing each other. These days, there are a lot more communication devices that are available than what was available a few decades ago. The availability of all these communication devices have made life easier to an extent, but they have also caused a problem. They have made communication easy, but do not follow the proper principles of communication leading to various problems and misunderstandings between the people who are communicating.
For instance, the person who is talking on the cell phone will not be able to see the face of the person on the other end of the phone. This makes it impossible to see the body language of the person. The person on the other end of the line may even be disinterested in the conversation, but the communication goes on. Another instance is the use of the internet and e mail to communicate with people. Previously letters were used and they used to be formulated and written with great care. These days, many people dash off one line communications with the other people. This may be a very efficient instant communication method, but the truth remains that though the communication is instant, it can lead to many misunderstandings because one line e mails rarely explain matters to the person receiving the communication.
